At ReadyGo, every device starts with materials science. Our technologies are built on advanced engineering design that control how liquids move and react to modify the sample to make compact diagnostic systems. At their core are precision-structured, non-swelling polymers that are designed to manage fluid flow and reagent mixing with absolute consistency.
By uniting chemistry, materials science, and industrial design, ReadyGo turns complex biochemistry into predictable, portable performance. The result is laboratory-grade reactions that can happen anywhere, reliably, reproducibly, and without complexity.

Collection Precision Through Smart Materials and Design
Not all samples behave the same. Fluids such as saliva, sputum, or blood vary widely in viscosity and composition, which can make traditional collection inconsistent. ReadyGo’s engineered wicks are designed to overcome that variability by selectively absorbing the fluid fraction most suitable for testing, the portion with consistent viscosity and analyte concentration. This built-in filtration effect excludes debris, mucus, or clots while capturing a uniform, metered volume of the target sample. The result is a clean, reproducible sample every time, ensuring that downstream reactions begin with precisely what they need and nothing more.

Consistency that’s Built In
Once collected, each sample is in a controlled processing environment. ReadyGo’s engineered materials perform the critical steps of lysis and reagent activation within the same component, no manual transfers or complex workflows required.
As the sample passes into the wick, viscosity and particulate content are automatically normalised, ensuring a uniform fluid phase for reliable detection. This self-regulating behaviour removes the variability seen with manual pipetting or external reagents, transforming raw biological material into a perfectly conditioned reaction mix ready for analysis.
Pre-dried reagents to lyse and stabilise the sample ensure the sample is prepared for testing not just collected.

GoCollect® is selective so that variation in sample viscosity is normalised
Engineered Elution
When liquid enters the wick, rehydration happens in a single, uniform front. The porous structure releases dried reagents at their original working concentrations (not too fast, not too slow) ensuring that each component enters solution in the correct ratio. Because the matrix is non-swelling, its pore geometry remains constant during rehydration, allowing fluid to move evenly through the structure without trapping or diluting reagents or creating hotspots of concentrated reagent.
In wash-through applications, this same architecture enables precise and repeatable elution. As buffer flows through the wick, the reagents dissolve completely and are carried forward with minimal retention or degradation. Enzymes, primers, and cofactors release efficiently into the reaction zone, reproducing laboratory-level performance without the need for pipetting or agitation. The result is consistent, quantitative recovery from every device; a clean transition from dry chemistry to active reaction.

Stabilising Biologicals
At the heart of ReadyGo’s technology is the ability to dry complete reaction chemistries directly into the test wick. Instead of storing reagents in liquid form, we immobilise them inside a porous, non-swelling matrix that becomes the functional core of each device. Enzymes, primers, cofactors, and detection substrates are stabilised in place, forming a micro-reactor that rehydrates instantly when a sample is added. This approach removes the need for cold storage, liquid handling, or reconstitution, transforming complex laboratory workflows into single-step, ready-to-run reactions.
Drying reagents directly into the wick ensures precision, stability, and scalability. Every wick contains the exact amount of reagent needed for consistent performance, whether for molecular amplification, enzymatic analysis, or colorimetric chemistry. The non-swelling polymer matrix preserves structural integrity during drying and heating, maintaining reagent concentration and activity. From PCR and LAMP to enzyme and immunoassays, this simple but powerful principle enables highly reliable testing that can be deployed anywhere in clinics, field labs, or home environments without compromising scientific quality.

Biosafe Lysis
GoCollect® changes what’s possible in sample preparation. By removing guanidine thiocyanate completely from the equation, it delivers a safer, simpler, and more flexible workflow, without compromise. Guanidine thiocyanate has long been a necessary evil in diagnostics: hazardous to handle, toxic to dispose of, and incompatible with many molecular and culture-based tests. GoCollect® ends that trade-off, much like the swab. Our non-chaotropic lysis chemistry achieves complete cellular disruption without inhibition or user risk, enabling direct sampling, cleaner workflows, and true biosafe collection and disposal. It’s compatible across molecular and biochemical assays, opening the door to new applications that guanidine could never reach.
