GoTest™ Air-Dried Reagent Delivery

Test. Trust. Go.

GoTest™ Dry Reagents, Ready Instantly

GoTest™ is ReadyGo’s proprietary reagent dry-down technology, designed to stabilise complete biochemical and molecular reaction mixes directly inside the test device. No refrigeration. No lyophilisation. No mixing.

Using controlled thermal evaporation and matrix binding, GoTest™ locks reagents into a thin, even film across the material fibres. When the sample makes contact, the reagents rehydrate instantly at working concentration, delivering true sample-in / result-out performance.

Compatible with everything from colorimetric assays to enzyme-driven reactions such as PCR, LAMP, and RPA, GoTest™ preserves the activity of delicate biomolecules, polymerases, ligases, antibodies, and cofactors, as well as traditional chemical reagents and indicators.

Assay developers can transform any wet-lab workflow into a dry, transport-stable format that activates on contact with the sample. Reactions can be pre-loaded into consumables like pipette tips, cartridges, or wicks, simplifying manufacturing and removing liquid handling entirely.

Reagents are stable at room temperature for up to 24 months which means GoTest™ can bridge the gap between lab and field and make high-performance diagnostics portable, precise, and effortless.

One drop of sample. One step to result. That’s GoTest™.

How it works?

Step 1. Drying

Reagents such as enzymes, primers, cofactors, buffers, or colorimetric substrates are absorbed into our porous matrix in their standard working formulations. Through a controlled thermal drying process (not lyophilisation), these reagents form a uniform, stable film that binds gently to the fibre matrix surface, preserving their biological activity and ensuring consistent reconstitution and performance when rehydrated.

Step 2. Rehydration

When the user adds a liquid sample the dried reagents instantly rehydrate back to their functional working concentrations. The capillary structure of the matrix ensures complete reconstitution within seconds, with no mixing, pipetting, or additional reagents required.

Step 3. Reaction

Once rehydrated, the reaction can proceed as a normal amplification, color change, enzyme turnover, or detection all within the same component. The unique GoTest matrix maintains consistent reagent ratios, prevents evaporation during heating or thermal cycling, and enables highly reproducible analytical performance. Of course the reaction can also be removed and placed into conventional reaction tubes.

GoTest™

Spin columns, pipette tips, in-tube

Flexible and universal

GoTest™ supports the dry-down of a vast range of chemistries from small-molecule reagents to complex biological systems such as enzymes, primers, and antibodies. Its gentle drying process preserves full activity without the need for lyophilisation, refrigeration, or specialist equipment.

Versatile applications

Equally suited to molecular, enzymatic, and colorimetric assays, GoTest™ allows rapid development of PCR, LAMP, immunoassay, and biochemical tests in compact, ready-to-use formats. The same platform can stabilise reagents for diagnostics, research, or environmental monitoring, making it an adaptable solution across disciplines.

ReadyGo advantage

GoTest™ dried reagents are provided directly within the reaction matrix, creating a self-contained system that rehydrates instantly when sample is added. This ensures consistent reagent concentration, complete rehydration, and reliable performance, even under challenging storage or field conditions.

Integration Ready, Partner ReadyGo

GoTest™ enables partners to stabilise, integrate, and deliver their assays anywhere without refrigeration, lyophilisation, or compromise. At ReadyGo we’ve designed GoTest™ as a reagent delivery component that can integrate seamlessly into existing diagnostic platforms and laboratory workflows. GoTest™ assays are built as drop-in components that are compatible with your current amplification workflow.

We partner platform and test providers to embed our reagent delivery technology where it can deliver the most value, offering rapid, reliable biological testing without re-engineering your workflow or platform architecture. From in-tubes to fluidic cartridges, from tips to spin columns, the days of difficult reagent lyophilisation or dealing with electrostatic lyo beads is over.

The result is faster development cycles, significantly lower overhead and immediate access to proven assays. Everything simply works without extensive optimisation or magic.
